Who We Are
In 1999, Dr. Joel Richman and Dr. Ron Fish joined forces to develop a group practice in Central New York (then named Psychological Healthcare). Their goal was to become the premier practice in the behavioral health field in the greater Syracuse region. Through the years the practice has continued to grow, and through several transitions, the emergence of who we are today has developed: Psychiatry Services of New York.
Psychiatry Services of New York continues the mission that the founders envisioned: to provide high-quality behavioral health services to the Central New York community in a safe and welcoming setting.
Leadership:
Dr. Meg Schultz serves as the Executive Director of Psychiatry Services of New York while Darcey Simmons, LCSW-R, CASAC, CST is the Associate Clinical Director. Together they provider over 30 years of clinical experience and leadership experience.
Lisa McDermott LCSW-R and Debra Delvecchio LCSW-R serve as Site Leads providing support and leadership to providers in their respective locations.
